1. Agreement
These Terms of Use apply to the Runtogether mobile app, website, and related services. By creating an account, using the app, starting a trial, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use Runtogether.
2. Who can use Runtogether
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use Runtogether. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Runtogether only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and for protecting access to your account.
3. Fitness and health disclaimer
Runtogether provides fitness, running, activity, nutrition, partner motivation, and planning tools for general informational purposes. Runtogether is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency service, or a replacement for a doctor, dietitian, physiotherapist, coach, or other qualified professional.
You are responsible for deciding whether any activity, workout, route, goal, nutrition estimate, or recommendation is suitable for you. Stop exercising and seek medical attention if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, or any other concerning symptoms.
4. App features
Runtogether may include partner linking, partner chat, shared progress, run tracking, races, points, rewards, step syncing, meal logging, camera-based meal analysis, notifications, widgets, and AI-assisted coaching or planning.
Some features depend on device permissions, Apple Health, location services, camera access, notifications, internet access, backend availability, and third-party services. We may change, suspend, or remove features when needed to maintain or improve the service.
5. Partner features and chat
If you connect with a partner, selected information may be visible to that partner, such as name, profile details, goals, progress, points, run or activity status, messages, partner rewards, and other partner-related activity.
You must not harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, exploit, or harm another person. Runtogether may provide report and block tools. We may review reported content, restrict features, disconnect partner links, suspend accounts, or remove content when needed for safety, moderation, legal compliance, or service integrity.
6. Subscriptions, trials, and payments
Runtogether may offer optional auto-renewable subscriptions, including weekly and yearly plans. Prices, trial availability, subscription duration, and included features are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.
If you start a free trial, your subscription will automatically renew and your Apple ID will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Renewal charges are handled by Apple. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the app or deleting your Runtogether account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.
Refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple policies. Runtogether cannot guarantee refunds for purchases processed by Apple.
7. User content and data you submit
You may submit information such as profile details, goals, messages, meals, photos, workouts, runs, partner rewards, and activity logs. You remain responsible for the content you submit.
You grant Runtogether permission to host, process, display, transmit, and use your submitted content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Runtogether. This includes attempting to access another account, scraping or reverse engineering the service, disrupting the backend, submitting illegal or harmful content, violating another person's rights, or using the app in a way that could harm users, Runtogether, or third-party services.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information. You can read it at runtogether.fit/privacy.
10. Account deletion
You can request account deletion in the app. Account deletion removes or deletes account data from Runtogether systems, subject to limited retention where required for security, legal, tax, audit, payment, dispute, backup, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Account deletion does not cancel active App Store subscriptions. You must cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.
11. Service availability
Runtogether is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in every location or on every device.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Runtogether is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, health outcomes, fitness results, or service availability.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as updating the effective date, providing in-app notice, or posting the updated Terms on this page.
